Our Services
Lawsons Solicitors provide a range of level services as detailed below:
Claims and Disputes
We provide advice on a range of claims and disputes including commercial litigation matters, contractual disputes, boundary, land, building and neighbour disputes, Landlord and Tenant cases and Probate disputes to name just a few.
Call or send us an email now so we can arrange an appointment for you on our Free Advice Scheme.
Debt Recovery
We offer a fixed fee service on simple debt recovery matters and most of the time we can obtain a County Court Judgment for you, with our fixed fee and Court fees added to the Judgment debt. We also offer advice on the best way of enforcing your Judgment and recovering monies owed to you. We act for many individuals and businesses who are owed money so why not contact us?
Employment Law
We act for a number of businesses and individuals in this complex and ever-changing area of law. We can advise you on or draft employee/service contracts for you, we also prepare and advise Clients on Settlement Agreements (formerly known as Compromise Agreements). As you are reading this there may be a Tribunal or other Judge sitting somewhere giving a Judgment which could affect you either as an employee or employer. If you need advice then please contact us without delay to arrange a free 30 minute appointment.
Personal Injury and Medical Negligence
Very often individuals face life-changing events through no fault of their own as a result of an act or omission of another person or company. If you have been injured by such an act or omission within the last three years, why not come in to see us on our Free Advice Scheme so that we can discuss whether you can claim compensation.
If you are unable to travel to our office because of your injuries then a home visit can be arranged.
Don’t forget that we do not, unlike some other Firms of Solicitors, take one penny of your compensation award; you get to keep the lot that is our guarantee to you (See our Further Information and Fees page).
Professional Negligence
If you believe that a professional person be that a Solicitor, Barrister, Accountant or any other professional, has, within the last six years, advised you (or not advised as the case may be) in a negligent manner and this has caused you a financial loss then you may be able to claim against the professional (more often than not the professional’s insurer will deal with the claim) for losses suffered.
Buying, Selling and Re-Mortgaging Property and Commercial Matters
We currently advise numerous Clients both residential and commercial who are buying, selling or transferring, gifting or re-mortgaging property and general commercial work, eg leases and such other agreements. Most Clients are offered a written fixed fee quote for the service we provide. Lawsons are a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme and we aim to provide good straightforward advice at a reasonable price. We do not take short cuts and all property transactions are carried out by a qualified Solicitor who will deal with your matter from start to finish.
If you would like a quote please phone or email us or alternatively fill in your details on our Contact Us page and provide us with brief details of the transaction and we can either email you a quote or call you with the same, whichever you would prefer.
Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorneys (LPAs)
We offer Clients fixed fees for the preparation of Wills and LPAs and for dealing with Estates (i.e. obtaining Probate) we offer a comprehensive service with our fees discussed and agreed at the outset.
We believe that we offer easy to understand and affordable advice when advising or preparing documents on these matters and as always when we reach agreement with you on our fees, this is confirmed in writing; there are no hidden fees.
The above information gives you a brief snapshot of the services we offer, however if you have any queries then do get in touch by telephone or email or send us your details on our Contact Us page, otherwise everyone here at Lawsons Solicitors thanks you for taking time out of your busy day (or evening) to view our website.
